Jesse Tree Activity Mural
Wonderful project for church groups, families with younger and older siblings,
and for teens "too old" for regular Advent calendars.
The history of the Jesse Tree dates to the early church, where it was used as a symbol of Christ’s human origins.
Through the story of "Jesse’s dream," children learn about the great covenants of God while creating a paper version of a 12th century stained glass window that charts Biblical stories from Adam and Eve to the reign of Christ. Each day, beginning December 1, a short story about the Biblical character is read and a panel illustrating that character is colored and added to the mural.
Contains 24 panels to color and assemble into a wondrous mural 19" x 49" tall!
